Maybe there is a compromise to this project. Focus on beautifying existing tree lawns, add more visible cross walks at intersections and RTA can work on the bus shelters and bus pads.

Then everyone wins and we Keep Lakewood Beautiful!

Here are my reasons:
1.This will slow down traffic because of the limited space for left turns,one lane will have people trying to turn and stopping that lane of traffic to move forward.
2.I and many other neighbors will have to go around the block to enter into ther own driveway if comeing from the east side of town.
3.Who will maintain this strip of trees and flowers? That could mean more taxes for us all.
How will fire equipment be able to get to houses with this strip in the way?
4. This will be a disaster for ambulances to get to help people in need.
5.Snow plowing will also be a disaster!
6. My neighbor has a 36 foot house trailer he brings in and out all summer,how will he be able to use this trailer anymore!
7.Clifton Blvd. was just repaired with water mains and newly paved and now you want to tear up all that was repaired!!
8 We lived here for over 40 years and are quite happy with the status quo,LEAVE CLIFTON BLVE ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
