Clean & Simple from Libby Story
The Spring lookbook from Libby Story has me really excited to get home and clean clean clean. So tonight I will continue to de-clutter and redecorate the apartment. I’ve already gathered three bags of clothes/accessories to donate to a local thrift store and have been on the hunt for new white linens to add into my bedroom. I want a light and airy feeling all spring (and summer) long. Do you have any suggestions where to source a new comforter or duvet?? I want something clean and simple, and reminiscent of the images above. Although I’m all about bold patterns on my person for this season, I need a bedroom that can calm and comfort me after a long day. Let me know your suggestions.
Happy Friday, Everyone xx
Life. It’s what happens.
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind. Between long days in the office, late nights facilitating stitched & wired dreams and jam packed weekends, I’ve allowed some simple moments pass me by. The same simple moments that are what make life, life. This weekend I decided to put the computer away for a bit. I had a full schedule of bridal showers, birthdays and going away parties and I didn’t want my work to get in the way of making memories. That doesn’t mean I didn’t say up until 2 am working on a website Friday evening…. It needed to get done! But I did manage to set the computer aside from Saturday morning until Monday morning. I’m easily connected through my phone, but even that was limited to a few instagrams.
I’m happy to say I survived the weekend of parties, family time and laughs with friends. And this weekend, although jam-packed, was exactly what I needed to keep me motivated in my work!
I’ve been working on the Stitched & Wired website for some time now, but recently had a major break through. I’m hoping it will be ready before my 26th birthday. I can’t believe I just said 26th birthday. Yuck. Well, it’s just another reminder to stop and smell the roses. We’re not getting any younger xx S
